Mr. Perez did a really nice job on his Weekeknder — as ALL our builders do! We are always so impressed by the workmanship and fun details everyone adds to their projects. They really are very personal expressions, and we love them all!
We are so excited to see these photos! A Weekender built at the tip of South America! Only 89 miles (144 km) from Cape Horn!
Mr. Carlos Alberto Perez has completed his lovely Weekender Flokis Bat (a Viking name!) and it is, without question, the southernmost Stevenson Project ever built! This was Mr. Perez's Pandemic Project, as many of us dove into various projects to stay sane during the lockdowns. We're so glad we could help provide some fun and distraction during the strange days...and happy to see such a lovely Weekender as the result!
It looks like Mr. Perez has a great workshop, great friends, and a very exciting place to sail — Perfect! What a wild looking spot! I hope we see lots more photos and videos from Carlos in the future!
